Legacy Cheer Academy is seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and athlete-centered coach to join our competitive cheer team, Legacy Legends. You’ll help athletes build confidence, teamwork, and strong fundamentals while creating a safe, motivating training environment.
Job Responsibilities
What We’re Looking For

Experience in cheer, tumbling, gymnastics, or related coaching

Strong knowledge of progressions, safety, and spotting techniques

Positive energy, reliability, and a collaborative mindset

Ability to motivate athletes across varying ages and levels

Working Conditions
- Gymnastics/Fitness Center environment
- Ability to lift/carry a minimum of 25 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to run, jump and be physically active

What You’ll Do

Lead high-energy team practices focused on stunts, tumbling, jumps, and performance quality

Teach safe progressions and proper technique; spot athletes as needed

Support choreography, competition prep, and game plans

Foster a positive, inclusive team culture that builds confidence and resilience

Communicate professionally with athletes and families
