Infant Birth - 12 months
Providing a loving environment that nurtures social, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth and development.


Waddlers 12 months - 24 months
Providing an environment that develops a sense of awareness of feelings, sound, textures, and space.
Toddlers 24months - 3 years
Providing an environment that has new opportunities to explore and develop through free play and teacher directed activities.


Preschool 3 years - 4 years
Providing an environment where each child can express themselves in the areas of social, emotional, physical, language, math, science, art and self help skills.


Kindergarten 4 years - 5 years
Providing an environment that prepares your child for Kindergarten. This includes name recognition, alphabet upper/lower case, numbers, and address, phone number. Also being able to zip, button and tie independently.


School Age 5 years - 13 years
Providing an environment that meets and supports the needs of the children and their families.

The entire JumpStart Staff is certified in the areas of First Aid, CPR, and Blood Borne Pathogens. Our Infant thru Toddler caregivers are certified in Shaken Baby Prevention and Safe Sleep practices.

The education requirements set forth by all JumpStart caregivers meet DHS licensing. In addition, all staff members participate in monthly continuing education courses.

Our entire JumpStart staff as well as volunteers are required to pass two (2) background checks (Michigan State Police and DHS Department of Human Services).

Transportation:
We provide transportation to and from Endeavor Charter Academy for an additional charge.

Nutrition and Lunch:
We provide a morning and afternoon snack including 100% juice and/or 2% milk, which follows USDA nutritional guidelines. All dietary needs and food allergies are considered as we plan our snacks. A monthly snack schedule is posted for your convenience.

*Note: Parents are responsible for providing a nutritious lunch for their child each day. Please do not send your child to the Center with soda pop or candy. We will provide milk with lunch unless your child’s nutritional requirement prohibits milk.

Our 18,000 square foot facility was designed and developed to accommodate your child’s needs!

Transportation:
We work with the Kalamazoo Public Schools to transport children via school bus to our Center.

Nutrition and Lunch:
In addition to provide morning and afternoon snack, we provide a full lunch for all children on table food, including 100% juice with vitamin D or 2% milk, which follows USDA nutritional guidelines. All dietary needs and food allergies are considered as we plan our meals and snacks. A weekly menu schedule is posted for your convenience.

*Note: We have a 4:00pm optional snack time. Parents are responsible for providing this snack.
