Parent Participation
(18 months - 3 yrs) |
30 min Class |
One Class Per Week |
In this unique class, the parent participates, allowing the young
child the opportunity to grow comfortably in a group situation at
their own individual pace. Basic motor skills are encouraged at
each station and include: rolling, sliding, climbing, hanging,
swinging, jumping, balancing, body awareness, ball handling, and
hand-eye coordination.
Activities include the use of hoops, balls, ropes, parachutes,
slides, tramps, and music in addition to “specialized” age
appropriate gymnastics apparatus. Parent and child share,
communicate, and bond in a fun, productive environment. Parent
Participation classes are also a great way to introduce children
to patience, sharing, and taking turns.
